But I did get a chance over the weekend to play with my Hometown layer cake, making pretty groupings...
And yesterday, experiment number one... Block Number One SUCCESSFUL!! I love it. All pieced.
And the Heath crosshatch in grey... perfect for the sashing.

WOW! That's an incredible looking block! Is it your own design? if it is, you are on to a winner! Now get back to the ironing!
I have three such WIPs, too - must be in the local water lol - and another load on the line arrrgh
Love your block, very cool!!! Makes me think of making sth. for Andrea - not that I have my current WIPs finished lol Your work is very inspiring - as usual!!!!!!!!!
Looking great!! The blocks....NOT the washing!
Pleased to see I'm not the only one who gets behind on chores at times!! Just as well you have plenty of wash baskets! Your block is looking good - I'll be interested to see the rest of the blocks (once you have folded the washing of course).
Love the way your block has come out ... now look forward to seeing a few more of them together!! Great job.
That looks fantastic!
You own four washing baskets?! Like your block and really like your tweet block from your last post.
Gorgeous circle - very clever - I don't envy that washing pile though, Good luck.
Hometown is one of my favorite fabric lines and I LOVE your block! This is going to look so good, perfect sashing selection.
